Ahem . . . I'm still alive

Well, It's been a while since I've posted, but since I think James is the only one who ever really read this, it probably doesn't matter at this point (although I kind of enjoy looking back on this as a kind of journal).

It's been a really hard semester for me. Classes have been tough, my roommate situation has been problematic, and having James on a mission has just made life difficult all around. However, I'm doing ok and this week I'm even ahead on homework for the first time since the start of the semester. And with Thanksgiving just around the corner life can only get better :)

James has been out for almost three months now and he's loving it. I love to hear all about his experiences in France. It is definitely an adventure and one I'm grateful I can be a part of in a small way.

I've also started working at the Provo temple every Friday night and I absolutely love it! It is the highlight of my week.

I wish I could post some pictures but I don't have internet access at home right now so that is nigh unto impossible. Fall has been beautiful this year and I've taken many a picture. I also enjoy my picture of the sign by an elevator in the JFSB, "Temporarily in order."

My sister Kerstin has also been gone three months now and is enjoying her time in Manaus, Brazil. With her fair skin she has a constant sunburn, but she has a good attitude and feels that she was born part Brazilian :) My brother Gary has just been called as a zone leader in his mission in Canada, which will be a new and exciting experience for him.

I can't think of much else that's new, so I'll stop here.
