So, it's been a while since I posted (as I have kindly been informed by a friend). Somehow when I only get time to check email two or three times a week, posting to a blog is low on my priority list. Sleep usually comes first. I'm a big fan of naps, especially the last few months. I hadn't realized how long it's been since I last posted.
For those of you who wanted to see a picture of me pregnant, here's your chance. And there are a whole bunch of cute pictures of Chris. Some you've seen before, some are new. This online photo album thing will make my life easier and raise the chances of me posting photos on a somewhat regular basis. I'll let you know when there are new photos to view (like now).
Christopher James Jensen: The Beginning |
Our little Christopher is now a month old and it seems like time has just flown. At the same time it seems like we've always known him and he must have been with us for much more than a month. His milestones thus far include learning to smile when we talk to him, take a bath without screaming, holding his head up and turning it from side to side while on his tummy, standing up with a little support, and sucking on his fist. He is just a pleasant baby and is a joy to have around. And he even sleeps for 4-6 hours at a time at night, which makes his mama really happy!
I'll post new pictures in the near future.
To the few faithful readers who have asked for an update, I am happy to inform you that our little baby is growing just as he should (as far as can be seen from ultrasounds anyway) and is a very active little boy. He likes to move around for a good portion of each day and does his best to interfere with his mom's exercise. (Almost every time I start doing some kind of exercising he starts punching or kicking me, making it very difficult to exercise.) Someone pointed out to me that he may just be joining in and trying to get his exercise at the same time, in which case I suppose I can't fault him.
